I leave for home tonight, one hour after midnight, 9/6/08.Yesterday, I made my last trip (this trip) into the mountains.
Hatcher Pass was closed because of snow when I was here in April, 2008, but not yesterday.
My photos can never convey what my eyes have seen.
An indescribable kaleidoscope of color and texture.
There is no way to describe the vistas, mountains, valleys, glaciers, colors, the rugged wilderness, so diverse, so dazzling, photos and words, can just not impart.
I have had a wonderful time.
An experience of a lifetime.
